We write about the movies that matter to us, with the slowness that movies deserve. Essays, portraits, stray notes. Also an archive of entries, cross-referenced with TMDB's open database, where you can read synopses, watch trailers and add your own rating and comment to the conversation.

Anyone can write here, signing with their name. There is no algorithm deciding what appears first: things are ordered by date, by film, by curiosity. Subjectivity is the point.
